ArKaos VJ DMX
Control ArKaos VJ and all your
other DMX compatible equipment
ArKaos VJ DMX can be controlled with small or hi-end DMX consoles and allows a smooth integration of videos into light shows, theater and performances. it will enable you set up outstanding video shows in a matter of seconds. Build a full performance using only a few simple video loops from your hard drive, mixing and altering them using more than 100 real-time effects.
Recommended minimum system configuration for smooth performances
PC
Note: The software installer will check if your media players and DirectX versions are up to date and give you the opportunity to update them if needed. |
Mac
Note: ArKaos VJ requires Administrator rights to be installed on Mac OS X, the installer will prompt for an Administrator password during installation. Effects from the Core Image library will only be available in HW Mode on computers running Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or better, otherwise corresponding effect icons on your keyboard will be replaced by a question mark. |
Platform independent requirements
- Hardware acceleration (HW Mode) requires a graphic card supporting the Pixel Shaders II technology. The most frequent supported cards are:
- nVidia GeForce starting from the model 5200 SE/XT
- ATI Radeon starting from the model 9550 SE
- If your graphic card is not supported, nothing strange will happen, ArKaos VJ will simply start in Standard Mode but you will not have access to the Hardware Accelerated effects.
- ArKaos VJ DMX can be controlled with an ArtNet compatible DMX console (which sends and receives DMX signal through Ethernet)
- ArKaos VJ DMX can be controlled with any DMX console when combined with a DMX to USB widget (which sends and receives DMX signals trhough USB)
