The fader jumps to full position

Postby pjwassermann » Fri Jan 23, 2015 11:37 pm

Hi Cracks

Performance mode in Grand VJ 2: whenever a layer is filled by a new cell the fader jumps to full position. This is very unpractical as the picture or video jumps in on the viewer. I'd prefer the fader to go to zero position so the layers can be prepared and then activated slowly.

Does anybody have a hint?

Thanks and kind regards

Hi pj,

I'm a user - not a mod.

I hope I understand your problem....

Right click on your cell with the visual to enable editing.
Select the mixing tab.
Drag the transparency slider full left to value 0.00%
exit editing mode.

Now when you trigger that cell it will populate in the mixer where appropriate at a transparency of zero.
Now you can gently reveal the cell's transparency when you choose.

Hope that helps.
