My avi files well not play in arkaos, what type of avi files work in the program? and can anyone recommend some free software to convert my movie files to make them compatible with Arkaos !

ArKaos VJ relies on Direct Show or the Video for Windows services. You may check what codec is using your video and see if you have the latest version of this codec installed.

The Indeo codec is the format we use to distribute the demos files of ArKaos VJ, you may want to test that.

So, first check if you can update the codec of your current videos and then eventually try the indeo.
